Are You There?
This is a comic based on folklores of some ethnic minorities in northeast China.
The protagonist, a pianist born at a full-moon night, was warned not to play at that time. She used to play the piano together with a doll, which had been in company with her since she was born, but one day she found it missing and she couldn't play the piano without it. So she tried to break the rules to see what would happen: she reunited with it…but all that proved to be an illusion, since she was dead in the first page, that's why she failed to find her doll.
The comic experiments on visual metaphors by using the red part as a hint, which tells who is alive and who is actually dead.
